Floor Four: The Chaos Abyss and Its Final Boss

The red-gate chain now runs four floors deep. Floor four is the Chaos Abyss: lava underfoot, endgame monsters and a two-phase final boss.

The red-gate chain in a standard dungeon now runs four floors deep. Floor four is the last one — there is no gate further down, only the blue exit. Whatever you picked up on the way, you carry out yourself.

The Chaos Abyss

Floor four's biome is the Chaos Abyss: lava tiles burn anything standing on them (they glow, so they are readable), and the monster pool is drawn entirely from the endgame roster. Loot quality climbs with depth, but by then you are carrying the whole run — one bad fight forfeits all of it.

The Annihilation Lord

The floor is guarded by the Annihilation Lord: it opens at range, and after its second-phase transformation it slams the ground, pulls a wide vortex, and keeps summoning death knights. It has no elemental weakness, so weapon coating and element-matching buy you nothing here — this one is movement, interrupts and raw damage. Boss rooms can also spawn two seal crystals: while any crystal stands, the boss takes no damage. Read the room before you commit.

Worth the trip

Killing it drops its signature weapon, the Annihilation Blade, part of the Abyssal Annihilation set. Boss abilities and monster elemental weaknesses are listed in the bestiary, and ground hazards in the biome codex. If the fight goes badly, extract — a run you walk away from funds the next attempt.
